Hi All,
before void reversal modul is available on my 1 st location. but now suddenly is missing with tips adjustment.
the weird thing is i have 3 location just recently sign up with toast, on the backend tips adjustment and void reversal modul is there or enable.
anyone know what cause that? or this is just toast marketing for new customer? later after couple of month they disable tips adjustment and void reversal.

i do batch as well, but the modul for tip adjustment and void reversal is not showing up.

Hey Abbie, I just checked our credit card record and found that some of the credit card transactions do not have "tip adjustment" option just like it is shown in your screenshot earlier. I do not have an answer to this problem. My best guess would be it has something to do with the types of credit cards or card issuer. Credit card batch settlement will take some time to update cc information to bank issuers. Maybe wait 12 - 24 hours and come back to see if void reversal is available to the transactions you have issue with. I believe there are toast gurus in this community that will be able to answer your question. However, I would encourage you to contact toast customer support to reverse void the card charges at your earliest convenience as it is time-sensitive.

I believe they made a change a while ago with the tip adjustments after batching, assuming do to the high risk/rate of chargebacks and possibly PCI compliance issues. They have not updated the toast central articles yet because they still show that you can do it after batch. I believe you need to contact support now if you need an adjustment or reversal that is not same day.

By any chance, do you know why some of the cc transactions have the "tip adjustment" option and some do not ?

i don't have any idea. maybe after my contract end i planning to looking for other pos. well see.
