Customer Invoices

Once a customer invoice has been created and sent to the customer.  Is it possible to make the invoice show up on the POS until it has been paid by the Customer on-line OR paid directly on the POS?  We have a few customers who prefer to call in and pay over the phone.  I noticed some Customer invoices show up on the POS but not all.

Once the order is invoiced it is then in the POS until it is paid and closed

Some invoices show up on the POS.  Not all.   We have invoices due following day and some due for several months out.  Do Invoices show up for a certain time frame?  For example only invoices due that week?  Or that month?
