We are trying to figure out a way to communicate with our rewards members. We only have email addresses for a small percentage of the guest who have signed up. We sign up all of our guests with phone number. Can anyone suggest a way to get More of their email addresses? Also, is there a way to easily send out an email to all rewards members reminding them that they have points and to come use them? I know I can reach out to each of them individually, however we have over Four Thousand rewards members. What do people do to engage with their rewards members? Thank you!

Thanks Rob, that isn't a great solution for us, it would slow down our service substantially - ice cream store with only walk-up and DT, no customer facing equipment. Is there a way for the customer to add their email to the loyalty card/account after the initial sign-up? I haven't been able to locate it or find a simple process to do so.

I guess the only way to prompt existing customers to add email to their account would be through birthday rewards as @rcmck has mentioned. Or you could make a flyer with the QR code to the lookup rewards/create account page and offer incentive such as a free sample size of ice cream when signing up with their email. When existing customers may sign up again they will have duplicate accounts. It will take time to clean up and consolidate.

I don't know if you offer a birthday reward but if you do I would remind customers when they sign up to follow the link in the confirmation text to add their birthday to get the reward, they will also be asked to add an email address as well. Do you use e-mail marketing? If you do you can just choose the email list 'guests enrolled in loyalty' when starting a campaign. "
