Online Promo Codes Not Displayed On Menu

Hello all!  New to Toast over here. We have a group of people in our community that we have always offered a 20% off discount to.  I'd like to make that available as they order online but I cannot figure out how to create the promo code and have it "not display on online menus."  I don't want everyone that goes to order online to see that code and be able to use it or we would be giving away the store!  How do I create the code but have it not displayed?

I think the 'display on menus' link under advertise causes some confusion, it is just a link to turn it on if you want, it is not an indicator of whether it is on or off for that promo code. Unless you click on that and select display on menus check box, as well as add a description it will not show up on your online ordering page.
