How to exclude menu items from delivery

We are looking to exclude specific menu items from delivery (currently use TDS). Is there a way to do this in Toast?

We still wish to sell this item via our online store for PICKUP only. We simply want to exclude it from delivery.

I had this same question recently, and when I reached out to Toast support, they said it was not possible. Hopefully it's something that can be implemented in the future.

I think you can do that by having different menus and manage in the visibility on which platforms you want to remove that item. For e.g. Here we remove the item from Toast Online Ordering and Online partners. I hope this is what you needed?

@ashokr is correct: duplicating the menu and creating a pick-up-only menu would be the best workaround. Let me know if this isn't possible for your menu. Thanks for reaching out to the community!

Hi Rob and @ashokr -- not really following the proposed solution. Can you step me through how this would work?

Keep in mind, our requirements:
1. Items are available to be purchased via Toast Online store (for pickup in store)
2. Items are NOT able to be ordered for Delivery using TDS or Online delivery partners.
