STAY and SEND Buttons, and Toast AI

Let me preface by saying, the powers that be, do not want coursing. Don't mention. PLEASE.
Hi! Bug Alert! Wait, TOAST AI said it's not. 😎
Paint the picture of events:
Entering an order, say 40 seats.
Entered 38 salads (send but keep entering orders)
STAY - Why did 5 salads fire and 33 salads Pink Hold?
Again, asking TOAST AI a question.. and AI tires to be right. And also tries to justify itself! 😫
I was thinking, do I post on community or TOASTTAB? I don't know. I mean if I report a BUG, is it already justified? Not a bug? I mean, I have developed software too, and I'm never wrong! (seriously, it's like that, just as a software engineer)
I asked TOAST AI:
I press STAY button and some of the items send to printer while arbitrarily "PINK HOLDING" other items.
Then the AI sent,
"This is done by design" and proceeded to tell me that when "we select items that then STAY"... And ignored my statement, "...arbitrarily selects some items to pink-hold." I then restate the statement and add in the AI response, underlining that I am not selecting any items. And AI proceeds to underscore the statement and again "By design."
So, I checked the setup and it's set up correctly. So, is it my fault? "Of course it is!" Maybe while checking my 38 salads, my pinkey inadvertently brushed up on an item or two. Or maybe I say, "Oh, this salad gets NO CHEESE. Okay, edit salad item." STAY. Oh, but I just edited a salad STAY would now hold that "selected". NO, incorrect! STAY will now send that salad, while holding the rest of the order.
But I recall a message, "Send selected items? Send all new items?" Is that only on SEND? And not on STAY? Why not both? See the point? Go ahead, tell me to be more aware. Because I have not time at all, I have to run like a wild man because I just spent 5 minutes putting a table of 40 into the POS.
-------------------- MY SETTINGS --------------------------------------------------------
AND
------------ EVERYTHING BELOW IF FOR YOUR PLEASE ONLY -------------------
Let's go back to engineering school. "Redundancies. Redundancies!"
"... some items may be held."
It's like, "This call may be recorded". Oh, "It will be recorded." May or may not? Will or will not?
"There is no may. Only do or do not." -- Baby Yoda
Sorry, Bill Maher quote coming: "NEW RULES!" No more software development on Restaurant-ware if you've not served food for at least 2 years in a high volume restaurant. I digress.
Oh, and let's not forget this. I don't understand. Yes I do, but it's not good programming.
Okay, then, I won't!
Well, what are my options? The rectangle just stares at me with a blank look. Oh, I have to choose a label below? By... clicking it? 🙄

Oh no, sorry I missed that. Yeah I guess it is all 3 depending on how you use it. Idk if it is buggy or more the way it functions is prone to user error, could be a little of both. It definitely was buggy when it was first released, I remember trying it out then and one day every item in the order started sending separately, went back to course firing and haven't tried it since.

Yeah I remember that each item was printing separately too. What a nightmare! I think it was, "Kitchen" from the main menu. Then "Kitchen Setup". It was difficult finding out why/not things were printing weird. The system "lets" you arrange overlapping rules, with a note. Note: this button may not work if you've selected other buttons like "this button here".

I also tried, "f" and "fi" and "fir" and "" 🤣

I think you mean, "coursing?". Or am I making stuff up now?

100% agree with the labels issue on this board. So bad. Hope they figure out the rest
