Toast Gift Card Activation Receipts

The platform release notes for app version 2.80 mention setting up Gift Card activation receipts.

It says there should be a blue banner on the Gift Card Setup page to turn these on, but I see no such setting. Has anyone been able to set these up yet?

Not on 2.80 yet to test it, but there are usually several different builds of the release and the release notes just outline what will be in the final release, you may just still be one a build that it is not part of yet.

You're totally right! I just assumed since there's a 2.81 that we were on 2.80, I didn't even think to check - I'm still on 2.79. Do you know if they do rolling releases or does everyone get the new builds at once? An estimated timeline would be awesome. I think the 2.80 notes have been out for at least a month.

Not usually all at once, don't usually see the next release notes until the previous is complete, 2.81 wasn't there several days ago so  I wouldn't be surprised if it comes tomorrow or early next week.

I'm not certain how the rollouts are managed, but I do know they are organized to roll out slowly. If you'd like, I can request an earlier update for your location. Just let me know the date you'd prefer to be on the new version, and I'll make the request!
